I really loved learning the ├ętudes in 12 Keys to Success, Jim.  Heck! Performing E Minor#3 won me a free amp from the Bass Solo Fun competition!

Absolutely!  For the competition, I made a 5-minute arrangement that actually included E Minor#3 twice, once as an intro and once as a solo over top of a bassline with my loop pedal.

Performing was tremendously fun because every single note I played was a piece that I worked on extensively over the past few years!  Like many other bassists that study with Stinnett Music, I learned and have been practicing parts from songs like Money Talks, Primal, Steam Roller, and the Slap Bass Workout CD for a long time.  I just simply made an arrangement out of these parts a week before the competition and I won 2nd place for it!  It was an event sponsored by Ampeg, DR Strings, Pedulla and D'Adario so I won a bunch of bass strings, shirts, and a decent amp.

It has left me astonished at how much the focused practice that you, Jim, have been guiding me through over the past few years works tremendously in the real world!  They recorded it, so I can share it here whenever it is up.
